Bempton Cliffs, Yorkshire, 24th June 2023

Join Simon to experience England's largest seabird colony. Bempton Cliffs can offer unrivalled views of our largest breeding seabird, the gannet, as well as a host of other spectacular avian life. Kittiwakes, guillemots, razorbills and puffins all breed here, along with many other species, making a community of about half a million birds.

Simon will be with you throughout the day to help identify the creatures we encounter and to interpret the subtleties of behaviour we witness. He'll also be on hand to help with photographic, observation and fieldcraft tips.

We will be in the field for a full 8 hours so you will probably need to bring sufficient food and drink for the day. That said, there is a cafe in the RSPB visitor centre as well as toilets and shop.

We shall be walking along cliff tops and whilst the ground is generally fairly level, a reasonable level of fitness is required and walking boots or other stout footwear are  recommended.

This Wild Day Out is restricted to a maximum of five guests and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Full details of the day will be sent to you once you confirm your booking.

COST : £249 pp

NOTE: Entry to the reserve is free to RSPB members. Non RSPB members must pay and entry fee in addition to the guiding fee. At the time of writing this is £7 pp
